The abstract submission deadline to BiPoCo 2024 has been extended until May 20, 2024.

Registration and Abstract Submission

All participants have to register online. Abstracts for oral and poster presentations can be submitted through the online  Registration & abstract submission site until 20 May, 2024.

Oral lectures and poster presentations

Regular lectures will be 15 minutes long, followed by a 5-minute discussion. For poster presentations, A0 (w: 84.1 cm; h: 118.9 cm) size posters are expected. For abstract format requirements, please click HERE

Dear Participant!
The event will be recorded on video, audio and video in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code on public participation and public recording. The purpose of the recordings is to record the organizers’ events and to verify that the events have taken place. The recordings may also be published on the organisers’ websites, publications and social media platforms. If you do not wish to be included in the recordings, please indicate your wish to be excluded by signing your name and signature at the time of registration.

Registrations & Accommodation

  • All fees are quoted in Euro (€) and taxes are included.
  • Payment in any other currency will not be accepted.
  • For issuance of invoices with an address within the European Union, the respective VAT registry number must be provided. The invoicing address and VAT number can be set up during the registration process.
  • Any modification on VAT number, address or financial documentation, requested after the issuing of the invoice or receipt, will result in an administrative fee of € 20.
  • Registration fees are based on the applicable fee on the date of the payment. The prices indicated are only applicable if BOTH the registration request AND payment are received before midnight, Central European Time (GMT +1), on the relevant registration deadline; otherwise, the higher registration fee will apply.
  • The room reservations are only guaranteed if the payment is settled until the deadline indicated on the proforma invoice Hotel rooms cannot be hold without a payment guarantee.

Payment Details

  • Registration and room booking can be done through the online registration interface,
  • 100% deposit required on the registration fee and accommodation fee.
  • proforma invoice will be automatically generated and sent to the delegates in a separate email.
  • You can pay your registration fee and any additional services by bank transfer at the bank account indicated on the proforma invoice by the deadline. Once the payment has been received, the invoice will be sent to the email address provided by the registrant in the billing details. The online application is considered as an order and will be subject to payment unless cancelled within the appropriate deadline.

  • The final invoice will be issued in English and will show the costs separated as follows:

  • The bank charges are additional and are the responsibility of the payer.
  • All bank charges associated with any refund will be the responsibility of the delegate.
  • For any special requirements (disabled person, specific dietary restrictions, non-smoking room etc.) or any pre and post Conference room nights you may contact the, Altagra at
  • Any pre and post Conference room nights must be fully paid after the confirmation of availability and within the specific deadline date given through correspondence by Altagra.
  • Altagra cannot be held liable for any damage or loss of any hotel property during the stay of the guests/delegates. The guests will be exclusively and solely responsible for any damage or loss caused in the hotel room or any public area within the hotel’s premises.

Cancellation conditions:

  • If cancellation is received by 8th July 2024, the participation fee already paid will be refunded.
  • For cancellations received between 8th July and 8th August, a 50% technical fee will be charged.
  • For cancellations received after 8th August, we are unable to refund, but we will accept the transfer of the right to participate to another person


Altagra carries a liability insurance for its activities. Liability insurance does NOT cover any personal injuries to participants resulting from an accident, travel damage, flight delays and baggage damage.
